Seen Technologies Ltd (“Seen”, “we”, “us”) operates the Seen platform at get-seen.ai. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal information when you use our website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

2.1 Information you provide

  • Account information — name, email address, and authentication credentials when you sign up.
  • Profile data — headline, location, industry, career stage, work status, skills, experience, education, and interests.
  • Video content — video bios you record or upload through the Service.
  • Documents — resumes and CVs you upload for profile completion or AI extraction.
  • Communications — messages you send through the platform, kudos, and outreach content.

2.2 Information collected automatically

  • Usage data — pages visited, features used, interactions, and timestamps.
  • Device data — browser type, operating system, IP address, and device identifiers.
  • Profile analytics — view counts, saves, and outreach metrics on your public profile.

2.3 Information from third parties

  • Authentication providers — Google, Apple, or other OAuth providers used for sign-in.
  • LinkedIn and CV imports — data you choose to import from LinkedIn or uploaded documents, processed by AI to extract structured profile information.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
  • Create and manage your account and public profile page.
  • Process and display your video bio to recruiters and visitors based on your visibility preferences.
  • Generate AI-powered features such as talking points, profile summaries, candidate matching, and strength analysis.
  • Facilitate communication between candidates and recruiters.
  • Send transactional emails (e.g. kudos requests, account notifications).
  • Monitor usage patterns to detect abuse and improve performance.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

  • Recruiters — your public profile, video bio, skills, and experience are visible to recruiters based on your visibility and availability settings.
  • Service providers — cloud hosting (AWS, Supabase), authentication (Clerk), email delivery (Resend), video processing (AWS MediaConvert), AI processing (Anthropic), and error monitoring (Sentry).
  • Legal requirements — when required by law, court order, or to protect our rights and safety.

5. AI and Automated Processing

We use AI services to extract information from resumes, generate profile summaries, analyse video content for strengths, and match candidates to positions. Your data is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) for processing. We do not use your data to train AI models. AI-generated content is clearly labelled where applicable.

6. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on servers in the United States using industry-standard security measures, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Video files are stored in Amazon S3 and delivered via CloudFront CDN. While we take reasonable steps to protect your data, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

7. Your Rights and Choices

You can:

  • Access and update your profile data at any time through your account settings.
  • Control visibility— set your profile to “link only”, visible to specific industries, or visible to everyone.
  • Delete your resume from the platform at any time.
  • Delete your account — contact us and we will remove your account and associated data.
  • Request a copy of your personal data by contacting us.

8. Cookies and Tracking

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We may use analytics tools to understand how the Service is used. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings.

9. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g. fraud prevention).

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

11. International Users

If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using the Service you consent to this transfer.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you via email or through the Service.
