Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Seen platform (“Service”), operated by Seen Technologies Ltd (“Seen”, “we”, “us”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Seen is a video-first professional presence platform that enables candidates to create video bios and public profile pages, and enables recruiters to discover and connect with talent. The Service includes web and mobile applications, APIs, and related tools.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using Seen you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

4. Account Registration

You may need to create an account to access certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of content you upload (“User Content”), including video bios, profile information, and resumes. By uploading User Content you grant Seen a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce, and distribute your User Content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.

You represent that you have all necessary rights to the User Content you upload and that it does not infringe the rights of any third party.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
• Upload content that is defamatory, obscene, fraudulent, or infringes on the intellectual property of others.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its related systems.
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to collect data from the Service without our prior written consent.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any entity.

7. Recruiter Terms

If you use the Service as a recruiter, you agree to contact candidates only through legitimate professional outreach, respect candidates' visibility preferences, and comply with all applicable employment and data-protection laws in your jurisdiction.

8. AI Features

Certain features of the Service use artificial intelligence, including video analysis, profile summaries, and candidate matching. AI-generated content is provided for informational purposes and may not be fully accurate. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any AI-generated output before acting on it.

9. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and share your personal information.

10. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, logos, trademarks, and underlying technology, is owned by Seen and protected by intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use Seen's trademarks or branding without our prior written consent.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the Service. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Seen shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
